You’re Not Broken – You’re Overwhelmed

For a long time, I thought something was wrong with me.

Why?

Because I wasn’t coping the way other people seemed to when things didn’t go as planned.

I’d say or do things completely out of character, then wonder why I’d lost control of myself.

And every time it happened, I swore I was never going to do it again, but I always did.

It seemed that the harder I tried to fix it, the more exhausted and frustrated I became.

But here’s what I eventually realised:

I wasn’t broken. I was overwhelmed.

And more than that… I was disconnected from myself.

Overwhelm isn’t weakness. It’s overload.

You don’t fall apart because you’re fragile.

You fall apart because you’ve been holding too much, for too long, without any real space to breathe.

You might find that hard to take in. I get it, I would’ve felt the same back in my most frustrated days.

Modern life doesn’t give us room to pause.

It pushes us to do more, scroll more, react more… until you reach a point where everything feels too much, and you forget who you were before the noise.

So, what’s the way back?

  • Not more pressure.
  • Not more performance.
  • And not another system to “fix” you.

The way back is quiet.
It starts with giving yourself permission to breathe, to feel, to stop rushing.

And that’s what helped me… small, honest practices that created space between the thoughts and the overwhelm.

You don’t need to fix yourself.

You just need space… to return to the version of you that shows up when life is flowing, steady, calm, and real.

That’s what I share in the Calm Plan, seven gentle emails, one simple practice each day, and a guide to help you begin.

No pressure. No noise. Just calm, presence, and space to come home to yourself again.

If you’re ready to begin, the Calm Plan is waiting for you here.
